Business and Professional Men's Alliance-
established the 17th day of December, 2003.
Mission
Statement: We will serve the black and business community while providing the highest
quality of association for our members to entertain and enhance
the spirit of camaraderie. We are a few good "professional
men" looking to grow with more professional men in reaching
their full potential. A business and social brotherhood,
we are dedicated to positive change through our association
with professional-minded men. We will break through the barriers
one brother at a time while lifting up our fellow man.
As with our Business and Professional
Women's Network (BPWN) of Cityhappenings.com, it is our desire
to offer MEN a business and social fellowship.
Purpose: We will provide our members with a strong and
solid "Brotherhood" that they are proud of,
allowing them to tell their stories and share their expertise
in a positive and trusting environment. Not only will black
men be affected, but their families, their businesses, and
the community as a whole.
Motto: "Connecting bridges between brothers". To
achieve this, we must organize, develop and create a strong,
diverse alliance and network among men--a manifestation of
our leader's vision to unite "black men" in our community
and cultivate an environment of positive
change. This alliance will educate, teach, guide, inspire, and empower members via workshops and seminars, health and employment
fairs, community outreach initiatives, social activities, and networking
opportunities. Men from various walks of life and different stages
in their careers have joined together to make this effort a
great success; therefore, the sky is the limit! So, let's reach
for the stars!
Our goals: To
reach out to men, positively impact our community, and
maintain a strong, cohesive, growing organization via relationships,
team-building, networking and other activities. BPMA
also seeks to create a legacy for men and for black youth--both
male and female. Therefore, we hope you will accept this opportunity,
join us in our mission and uphold
a legacy of excellence while supporting true brotherhood
with BPMA.
Membership: Each member will pay $75 in semi-annual dues to
be associated with our alliance. We support personal and professional development among our members
by way of talent, skill and abilities.

is a "private and exclusive" brotherhood. An application
is required for membership. Guidelines and a selection process
